These terms apply when you use this website, enrol in a course, use our lab environments, or engage Ignite Technologies for a security assessment. By enrolling or engaging us, you agree to them.
About us
Ignite Technologies is a cybersecurity training and consulting company based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Ignite Technologies, and "you" means the student or the client.
Courses and enrolment
- A place in a batch is confirmed once your enrolment is accepted and the fee is settled as agreed.
- Course content, module order and duration may be adjusted so the material stays current with the field.
- We may reschedule a batch or change a trainer where necessary. If a batch is rescheduled, we will tell you as early as we can.
- We may decline or end an enrolment where the prerequisites are clearly not met, or where these terms are broken.
Fees and payment
- Fees for each course are shown on that course's page. Unless stated otherwise, fees are quoted in Indian Rupees, with an indicative US Dollar figure for convenience.
- Early-bird pricing applies only while the stated window is open. Once it closes, the regular fee applies.
- EMI and instalment options are available. The arrangement is agreed with our team before the batch starts.
- Payment-provider charges, bank fees and any applicable taxes are additional unless we say otherwise in writing.
Attendance and recordings
- Training is delivered live by an instructor. If you miss a live class, you get the recording of that class so you can catch up.
- Recordings and course materials are provided for your personal learning only.
Cancellation and refunds
You have 7 days from the date your batch starts to decide the course is not right for you. Ask for a refund within that window and we will return the fee you paid.
- Send the request to [email protected] from the email address you enrolled with, within 7 days of the batch start date.
- Refunds are returned to the method you paid with. Payment-gateway or bank charges already incurred are deducted.
- After the 7-day window, the fee is non-refundable, but you may ask to move to a later batch and we will accommodate that where we can.
- If we cancel a batch and cannot offer you a suitable alternative, you get a full refund of the fee paid for it, whatever stage we are at.
- Where an enrolment is ended because the acceptable-use clause below was broken, no refund is due.
Acceptable use of what you learn
This matters more here than on most sites. Our courses teach offensive security techniques. Using them against systems you do not own or do not have written permission to test is a criminal offence, including under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
- You will use the techniques taught only against systems you own, our lab environments, or systems you hold written authorisation to test.
- You will not use our labs to attack any external system, host malicious content, mine cryptocurrency, or launch traffic at a third party.
- You are responsible for what you do with what you learn. We accept no liability for unlawful use.
- We may suspend lab access or end an enrolment immediately if this clause is broken, without a refund.
Course materials and intellectual property
- Course notes, lab guides, recordings, challenge sets and the content of this website belong to Ignite Technologies or our licensors.
- You may use them for your own learning. You may not resell, republish, share publicly, or use them to deliver training of your own without our written permission.
- Sharing your login or recordings with people who have not enrolled is a breach of these terms.
Certificates
A certificate is issued on successful completion of the course. It records that you completed our training. It is issued by us and is separate from any third-party certification such as CEH, OSCP or OSEP, which have their own exams, fees and awarding bodies. We prepare you for those exams; we do not award them and cannot guarantee that you will pass.
Placement and career support
Where a course includes placement support, that means resume review, interview practice and introductions to our partner organisations. It is support, not a guarantee of employment.
Security assessments and corporate engagements
- Penetration testing, red team and corporate training engagements are governed by a separate proposal or statement of work, which sets out the scope, timing and commercials.
- Testing begins only once we have written authorisation from someone entitled to give it for the systems in scope.
- Findings and reports are confidential to you. We will not disclose them without your consent.
- An assessment reports what was found within the agreed scope and time. It is not a guarantee that a system is free of all vulnerabilities.
This website
We keep the information here accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors. Fees, schedules and course content can change. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of a course or an engagement is limited to the fee you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or business opportunity.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you enrol is the one that applies to you, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
